Toddler Puzzle Shapes App Reviews

This is a simple but excellent tool in enhancing a childs understanding and recognition of shapes. However, I think the developers could have easily incorporated color recognition into the app, doubling its value. Overall, a fine and free tool.

Downloaded this for a 2 year old boy. Easy enough to figure out and keep them entertained

Kept the kidlet occupied for hours.

I just downloaded this and while checking it out it is not working. When I choose the correct shape it does not accept it.

He laughs with the sounds, very fun and intuitive. Wish to find more games to Learn this easy, human voice is a great touch on this app.

I just download this app but no sound on my iphone

My baby matches these shapes at whim, and recognize the names of the shapes. It perfect! I have been searching for one similar with letters instead of shapes. That would help a lot!

Love this App! My 2 year old will spend 20 mins playing it!! Its super for teaching him the names of shapes and putting pieces of puzzles together! I would love to see more puzzles etc and would pay up to $2.99 for a version that included even more puzzle and larger puzzles (more then 4 pieces!) and also an option for older kids that does not automatically indicate to the child where the piece goes! But that is great for the younger kids and those just learning!

Its okay, but just okay. There is not much to it, drag the matching shape to the upper right corner, and then there are four piece puzzles. Puzzingo has many more puzzles teaching a variety of things.

This is fun for my 1 and a half yr old but he can swipe out of the game to the app store or back to my home screen every time. Please fix it so you have to swipe it a certain way to exit game.

Keeps my daughter entertained and focused. It is a simple minimalistic, yet effective way for children to learn.

My toddler likes putting the shapes in their spaces, but needs help with the four-piece puzzles. The sticker rewards are a welcome addition.

Dont hesitate, get this app! This is a wonderful app for toddlers to learn different shapes. This also helps with their hand-eye coordination skills.

I am an occupational therapist and love this for my kids. If I may make one suggestion, I would like to see the puzzle without the pieces interfering with the picture. This makes it much more difficult for the child to see the matching slot, and requires higher levels of visual perceptual skills. Perhaps for possible higher levels of the game the puzzle could be obscured by the pieces, for a bigger challenge, but having the pieces able to be moved around the screen for repositioning. Just thoughts from a pediatric occupational therapist. I love the stickers, by the way!

This app works great on the iPhone 4 as the sound works well. So, I added it to my iPad 4th generation and it works great too. . My grand baby who is 3, loved playing with it on the iPad.

My 22-month old son loves this app on my IPhone 4. Unfortunately, it has started crashing when we open the app with a message saying "Cannot Connect to Itunes". It used to work great & bought us some peace at restaurants. Now it just doesnt work. I would give it 4 1/2 starts if it did work.

Im writing this with my niece next to me: "i think this helps me with kindergarden, with shapes, puzzles and when the teacher asks me about a pentagon, now i know!" --- :) she loved it.
